The first half of the course was going around in circles in pasture. It looped around a cemetery that was in the middle of no where. Did anyone else find that kind of odd? The "swamp" smelled horrible! It had a disgusting green film floating on the surface of the water which made you think before jumping in, although, I'm sure it felt pretty good after "dumpster diving". What happened to the junk cars and other obstacles that were on the website but weren't actually there? The "blackout" snake pit I could have done without. Crawling around on my knees in complete darkness & worrying about putting my hand down on a snake was not my idea of a good time. We passed a snake as we neared the end. It was just sitting on the sidelines flicking its tongue at us as if it were saying, "Suckers! You paid out the wazoo to play on a bunch of timber, dumpsters, nets & mud." If it weren't for the shirt & fuzzy helmet, I would have felt rather cheated. It is a great get up. Although, I think you could have came up with a better 5k obstacle course Bobby.
